What is the WakaGo activation fee?
A one-time activation fee of $2.00 applies at the time of your first WakaGo eSIM purchase.
The same $2.00 activation fee will be charged every 12 months thereafter to maintain the validity of your eSIM and keep your wallet balance active.
Key points:
- The activation fee is a flat $2.00 — it never changes.
- It is charged once at first purchase, then annually on renewal.
- Your wallet balance never expires and carries over automatically when you renew — you only pay the new top-up amount plus the $2.00 activation fee.
- If your 12-month subscription expires and you do not renew, your eSIM access and country rates will stop working until a renewal is completed.
- Renewing does not require reinstalling the eSIM — your existing eSIM profile stays on your device.
